For over three decades, I have been involved in touch and movement work that help facilitate personal growth, healing, and a more fulfilling quality of life. To that end, there is a whole "bag full" of wonderful tools at my disposal. I choose from among a variety of teaching and healing modalities tailored to best accommodate your needs. Below, you will see a list of the different kinds of training and life experience that I utilize with emphasis on Integrated Awareness®, Jin Shin Jyutsu, Movement Education, and CranioSacral Therapy. WHAT TO EXPECT We work individually with fully clothed clients on a massage table, though occasional guided movement floor lessons or group classes are taught as well. You can look forward to conscious touch, energetic or physical movement, expanded awareness, presence, and acceptance. Bring with you a wish list of things you would like for yourself, i.e., "more of" or "less of" in your life. This could include everything from better physical health and pain relief to release from anxiety/depression or to more abundance and better relationships in your life. It is then my privilege to explore with you the body and brain sites that are keys to those wishes. When change and healing do not come easily, there are often parts of ourselves that are holding us up. What is exciting is to discover the mostly unknown or unrecognized drives and restrictions that perpetuate behavior and physical patterns that obstruct us. Through expanded perception, nurturing brain exploration, touch and movement, the body reveals this information and is willing to change in ways that allow you to feel more at ease and at home with yourself and in the world.
