I trained with the Upledger Institute, completing the “Advanced” level (1993-2001), and then served as a teaching assistant at nine seminars.

Advanced training at the Pacific School of Massage and Healing Arts (1983-1991).

Healing Arts and Massage Center
In 1988, I opened the Center in Gualala with the vision of including several healing modalities under one roof. Since its inception, we have offered Massage (Swedish and Deep Tissue); Jin Shin Jyutsu; Physical Therapy and Osteopathic Manual Medicine; Acupuncture; and Chiropractic; Spa Treatments and Facials. Our warm, welcoming environment provides a soothing setting for these healing and restorative treatments.

My introduction to massage therapy began with bodywork to treat my own injuries, following an auto accident (1980). The profound healing I experienced reached into my past, addressing earlier injuries and severe trauma. This turning point in my personal healing opened a door to the study of massage and the healing arts.

Through my massage and Craniosacral Therapy practice, I continue to fulfill a dream: that of offering sessions to support and facilitate my clients on their healing path. My work often combines both modalities for optimum nurturing, balancing of mind and body, and release of stress from the tissues.
